"At the noise of the tumult the people shall flee; when You lift Yourself up, the nations shall be scattered." Isaiah 33:3
Christmas is past and we are about to begin another year of service to the Lord God Most Very High. We are truly blessed to have such a Wonderful and Loving God whom desires for us to love Him in return. We are called to a life filled with abundance and prosperity, filled with all the Blessings of God Most High. We only must accept the blessings and believe, through faith, that we are worthy to receive the Blessings of His Divine Countenance. We also must accept the Very Most Beautiful Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour by accepting the Gift given to all, accept the Blood of the Lamb over us and the sacrifice made for all the world.
We are called to repentance and to "come out of her (the world)" to be made wholly acceptable and clean in the sight of God Most High, for we are like filthy rags before Him, for "we all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." By being washed in the precious Blood of Jesus we can be cleansed from our sins. When cleansed this is when we must be most careful, for being free from sin is without a reason to sin again. For example Paul says in Romans 6:15 "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace?" For we are saved by the Grace of God Most High through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is above man's law, but we are still held accountable for our actions and should strive to continue to be wholly acceptable in the sight of the Lord. To do what is good and right when seeing wrong all around can be difficult, but we are called to serve one another with our actions by leading through example.
This New Year began for myself on the 24th of December because Christmas is both and ending and a beginning. The end of the year's holidays and the beginning of a new year of life living for the Lord. Everyday is an effort to do better and be of better service to God Most High, the Lord Jesus Christ and serving our brothers and sisters in Christ...though this Year is special in my heart. This past year marks the beginning of a very personal relationship with my Lord God Most High, my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and my family of God Most High. Though many have suffered this past year, we should look forward to the Kingdom of God Most High. So, I pray, that all whom are called may hear the call and come to repentance this year, for we have an important reason for being of service to God Most High, the Lord Jesus, and our brethren.
"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33
